Esti Ginzburg is an Israeli fashion model who has appeared on the covers of various fashion magazines worldwide including Glamour, Vogue and French Elle. Ginzburg will make her Sports Illustrated debut in the 2009 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Unlike fellow Israeli fashion model Bar Refaeli, Ginzburg has decided to fulfill her two-year service requirement in the Israeli army. Ginzburg will serve as an information spokesperson for young Israelis preparing for their own military service. Since Sports Illustrated released its first swimsuit issue in 1964, men and women around the world have looked forward to the magazine's special mid-February issue. Over the years the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue has features some of the most beautiful women in the world on its covers and inside its pages.

Ginzburg will be the second Israeli model to be featured in Sports Illustrated. Fellow Israeli fashion model Bar Refaeli had hoped to grace the 2007 cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, but lost the cover to pop singer Beyonce Knowles. Refaeli instead appeared on an insert inside the magazine.
