On Febuary 4, 2008, Esther Reed was arrested for stealing the identity of Brook Henson, a resident of South Carolina who has been missing for eight years.ABCNews: Feds Nab Suspected Ivy Leage ID Fraudster
Esther Reed is wanted by federal authorities because she fraudulently received more than $100,000 in student loans, ran up credit-card bills and got a a passport in someone else's name. She is thought to have used at least three identities to gain entrance to some of the nation's most prestigious colleges.
