Esha Momeni is an Iranian-American student at California State University, Northridge. Momeni, who was working on her master thesis project in Iran, was arrested on October 15, 2008 for allegedly passing another car while driving in Tehran. She was held in Tehran's Evin Prison for 25 day before being released on bail.
