Erin Rohwer is a 27-year-old high school English teacher that was arrested at her home in Des Moines, Iowa on Monday, January 12, 2009 for allegedly having sex with one of her 18-year-old male students. Although both were of legal age, it is against Iowa state law for a school employee and a student to have sexual contact. Rohwer was head of the English department at Dowling Catholic High School and had been an employee there since 2003.
