Professional basketball player Erin Phillips is a member of the Connecticut Sun in the Women's National Basketball Association. Phillips was selected to join the Australian women's basketball team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.

Basketball Career
Phillips began playing professional basketball in 2002. She played four seasons for the Adelaide Lightning in Australia's National Women’s Basketball League before she was selected in the second round of the 2005 WNBA draft by the Connecticut Sun. Phillips joined the Sun for her rookie season in 2006, then was forced to sit out the 2007 season after injuring her knee. She joined the Australian national team in 2006 and helped the team win a gold medal at the FIBA World Championships. -
