Erin Burnett is a popular anchor for CNBC, pulling double duty respectively as co-host and host on the programs Squawk on the Street and Street Signs.
Burnett's first job was in 1998, with Goldman Sachs, where she worked as a financial analyst. From there she worked on the CNN show, Moneyline as a writer and guest booker. Her next career move took her to Citigroup, where she served as a Vice President. In 2003, she moved onto the show Bloomberg on the Markets and In Focus, which aired on Bloomberg Television.

Rush Limbaugh Praised Erin Burnett

In January of 2009, Rush Limbaugh was interviewed via telephone by Burnett and her Squawk on the Street co-host Mark Haines about the article which Limbaugh had published in the Wall Street Journal entitled The Obama-Limbaugh Bipartisan Stimulus Plan of 2009.
Personal Life
Burnett was born in Mardela Springs, Maryland. She received a B.A. in Political Economy from Williams College located in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
While attending Williams College, Burnett played field hockey for the women's field hockey team. Melissa Winstanley, aformer teamate of Burnett said of her, "she was a top scorer, and incredibly studious"
Burnett has never been married.
