Erin Andrews is a reporter for ESPN. She was hired in 2004 to work on ESPN's NHL coverage, and has since become a fixture of their Saturday College Football and Big Ten basketball games as a sideline reporter. Death Threats
On April 5, 2010, Andrews confirmed to the press that she was indeed going to continue her performances on Dancing with the Stars even though she has received death threats. Andrews was quoted as saying "I'm glad I'm here, I have a dance on Monday and I don't want to let Maks down, I don't want to let my family down, and I don't want to let myself down. I'm not going to stop living my life. I don't quit on things. It's not an option for me."
Dancing with the Stars
On March 1, 2010, Erin Andrews was announced as one of the newest contestants on Dancing with the Stars season 10, during the final episode of The Bachelor. She will compete against fellow celebrities Pamela Anderson, Chad Ochocinco, Kate Gosselin, and Nicole Sherzinger.
Her partner for this season of Dancing with the Stars will be Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
Erin made it all the way to the finals of Dancing with the Stars, but left in third place as she was unable to beat Nicole Sherzinger or Evan Lysacek

Week 1: Judges score: 21
- Bruno told Erin she was "bringing zest and vitality to the competition."
- Len said Erin was a "funky monkey, great gait, great movement full of rhythm."
Week 2: Judges score: 23
- Carrie Ann told her "You are a beautiful lyrical dancer."
- Bruno said "Erin, you're a natural, you take to dance like a duck to water." But he also warned her to finish "make sure [she] finishes all the movement, [and] learn how to link them."
Week 3: Judges score: 23
- Bruno called her a "great dancer that [he] would like to see back, see what [she] can do".
Week 4: Judges score: 18 - technical & 21 - performance (a new scoring system was put in place this week, judges awarded a technical score and a performance score). Total: 39/60
- Len told Erin that it "was a full-on tango and I appreciate that very much,"
- Bruno said "You started it very, very well, flamboyant. … Then you went wrong and you could not quite catch your performance."
- Carrie Ann said "You're a really beautiful dancer, but I think the technique got the best of you."
Week 5: Judges score: 22
- Len told Erin "I thought, oh here we go... it's slow... then you kicked off." He continued "It was a tough routine, you coped with that very well... a really good job."
- Bruno effused "Erin, you got that Uma magic just right. I counted all the way through, this is your best timing ever."
- Carrie Ann said "I liked it... You came out, you delivered the story." But she also warned Erin that "you might have done better if you were a little more relaxed, you were ahead of the beat."
Week 6: Judges score: 25 + 9
- Len was critical of Max's routine. "You should be getting 8's, 9's, and even 10's... come out and show me a proper dance." To Max he said, "I'm fed up Max with shirts coming off. She's too good for that. She a good dancer."
- Bruno shouted "This is a girl that can do it. Your placement in the arms tonight was spot on.... It was exciting... It was like [a] girl that like to be on top."
- Carrie Ann told Erin "Samba is obviously one of the most difficult dances to get. You nailed it!... I loved it."
The couples then danced an elimination swing dance marathon. Erin and Max were solid, and managed to stay in the competition for quite a while, until finally being eliminated second last. They scored 9 additional points.
Week 7: Judges score: 27
- Len was was pleased. "Erin, without a doubt, your best dance, great posture, beautiful hold, I loved your performance. Well done."
- Bruno gushed "Slick, lightning fast, and brighter than Len's tie. Those variations were so difficult, you did them beautifully." His only criticism was that sometime Erin's shoulders were too tense.
- Carrie Ann said "Erin, that was gorgeous. .. You guys were really dancing as a solid couple, your lines were fantastic.
Erin also received a score of 24 in the Cha Cha Challenge.
Week 8: Judges score: 28 + 25 Erin danced an Argentine Tango and 80's Rumba
Week 9: Judges score: 27 + 29 Erin danced an Viennese Waltz and Paso Doble
Week 10: Erin was eliminated from [[Dancing with the Stars]] midway through the final episode.
Andrews In The Tabloids
In 2009, Andrews became tabloid news fodder after she was secretly videotaped naked in her hotel room via a modified peephole. Life and Career
Erin Andrews is the daughter of Steve Andrews, an Emmy Award winning investigative reporter in Tampa Bay. Her early dreams including becoming a Sea World whale trainer and a Britney Spears backup dancer.http://www.erinandrews.org/erin-andrews-biography.php Years later, NBC's Hannah Storm's NBA Show inspired a young Erin Andrews to pursue a career in sports reporting. She has since gone on to become one of the most recognizable sideline reporters on ESPN, and appears in EA Sports NCAA Football 2010.
While completing a telecommunications degree at the University of Florida, Erin Andrews danced with the Dazzlers, the Florida Gators basketball dance. She also joined the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.
