Erin Andrews is a sideline reporter for ESPN. She began by covering the National Hockey League, and has since moved on to College Football and Major League Baseball after ESPN downgraded their hockey coverage. Her father, Steve Andrews, is a six time Emmy Award winning television news reporter.

In July of 2009, Andrews was videotaped nude in her hotel room without her consent using a peephole. The footage was posted on the Internet, prompting legal action from ESPN. Playboy magazine ranked her in 2007 as "America's Sexiest Sportscaster," beating out Lindsay Soto and Krista Voda. Andrews garnered almost 40% of the vote from the user-determined contest. The most popular video montage of Andrews on YouTube has been viewed over one million times.

While at the University of Florida, Andrews performed for the Gator Basketball dance team, and aspired to be a back-up dancer for Britney Spears. Her first jobs out of college were for FSN Florida and Sunshine Network, reporting on the Tampa Bay Lightning. She covered Atlanta sports teams such as the Thrashers and Braves before signing with ESPN in 2004.

In July, 2009, a peeping tom filmed Andrews naked through a hotel peephole. The video was posted on the Internet and spread through torrents and other video-sharing sites. The video was quickly removed from YouTube and Andrews took legal action against the hotel and person who filmed her. On November 22 a second woman claimed that peephole video suspect Michael Barrett stalked her at home, her workplace and on the internet. On December 3 there was a new devlopment in the case as the FBI served search warrants at Yahoo and Google offices in Silicon Valley. On December 14 Michael Barrett pleaded guilty to federal stalking charges.
