Erik King is an American actor who has graced the small screen on countless television series since the early 1980s. His TV credits include the HBO series Oz, CSI Miami, Charmed, Malcolm in the Middle, Law & Order, NYPD Blue, and the role of the suspicious, foul-mouthed Miami cop Sgt. Doakes in the acclaimed Showtime drama Dexter. The show, which follows the life of a vigilante serial killer (played by Michael C. Hall) who works as a blood spatter expert for the Miami Police Department by day, has been lauded by critics and won two Emmy Awards.
King's big screen appearances include National Treasure, Cadillac Man, True Crime, and Ice Princess.
