  • Knee Injury

    Johnson suffered a season-ending injury in mid-September of 2008 while on a team bonding trip with fellow St. Louis Blues players and management. He reportedly got his right foot caught between the brake and the accelerator on a golf cart, tearing two ligaments. Two MRIs confirmed the damage and corrective surgery was performed.     Prior to joining the NHL, Johnson played hockey in high school at Holy Angels High School in Minnesota.
