Early Life
Erick Dampier was born on July 14, 1975 in Jackson, Mississippi. He attended college at Mississippi State University, where he played three seasons with the Bulldogs. He was later drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the tenth pick in the 1996 NBA Draft.NBA.com: Erick DampierPro Career
