On October 6, 2009, it was announced that Erica Dahm McGraw, the wife of Jay McGraw, was expecting their first child. Jay McGraw is the son of Dr. Phil McGraw and Robin McGraw. Erica is one of the Dahm triplets, she and her sisters Nicole and Jaclyn where Playboy playmates and where featured in the December 1998 issue. All three sisters got pregnant at the same time and made a guest appearance on the The Doctors on October 7, 2009. They were there to settle the question "how many babies were there?"
Since triplets can run in families and there were many multiples in the family tree on both sides, all three sisters were anxious to find out if they were carrying single or multiple births. With a live ultrasound conducted during a showing of The Doctors’’, it was confirmed that triplet Erica, Nicole and Jaclyn were all giving birth to only one baby this time. They were each given a three dimensional ultrasound that did confirm no multiple births.
On October 30, 2009 they brought Erica back and on the show live they once again performed an ultrasound and confirmed that Erica just as her sisters is expecting a girl. Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw were on hand for both of the 3d ultrasounds. Upon hearing the announcement pink balloons dropped from the ceiling of the Doctor's set on to the happy family.
February was a busy week for the triplets on The Doctors’’ Nicole appeared via camera feed and presented her new daughter Charlize Elizabeth Kelly. She was born a few weeks earlier and her parents call her Charlie. Nicole gave simple advice to her sisters, telling them not to yell at the husbands it would not stop the pain.http://www.thedoctorstv.com/main/procedure_list/1212
