Eric O'Hara, 24, a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, died on February 28, 2008. O'Hara is the step-brother of The Hills star Heidi Montag. He fell off the roof of a hotel he was working at in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The 24-year-old veteran was recently discharged from the Army's 82nd Airborne Division, where he served 2 tours and lead 80 missions. David Preston told the Rocky Mountain News "having made it through 15 months in Iraq, and then to have this happen ... it's really tough".
