    Naposki was arrested on May 20, 2009, and charged with the December 15, 2004, murder of millionaire businessman William Francis McLaughlin. In the 1980s, McLaughlin founded a company that filters plasma from blood. According to reports, Naposki's live-in girlfriend, Nanette Packard McNeal, formed a romantic relationship with McLaughlin after he answered a personal ad she had placed.     Police allege that Packard McNeal convinced Naposki to murder McLaughlin for financial gain. Naposki allegedly agreed and shot McLaughlin six times in his kitchen, While Packard McNeal was charged with stealing nearly $500,000 from McLaughlin, neither were ever charged with the murder as the weapon was never found. Naposki faces charges of murder for financial gain and personal use of a firearm.
