Eric Mabius

Eric Mabius portrays the character of Daniel Meade in the ABC series Ugly Betty. Before his stint on the series, he appeared on the programs The L Word, The O.C. and Party of Five.

Eric Mabius and wife Ivy Sherman welcomed a baby boy named Rylan Jaxon in early December 2008. Sherman's pregnancy was announced in April 2008. This is the couple's second son. Mabius made the following statement about his previously pregnant wife, "My wife is due any minute, so we won't have time to travel but we'll go home to Amherst, Massachusetts, for the holidays.
