Career
Caruso is best known for his years singing as the lead tenor at New York's Metropolitan Opera. He was one of the most popular singers in the first half of the 20th Century recognized internationally as a superstar. He made over 450 recordings in his 19 year career. Some of his most recognizable recordings include "O Sole Mio", "Santa Lucia" and "Over There". -
