The weapons available in the PlayStation 3 version of Quake Wars are much similar to the ones in the Xbox 360 version. Players can equip themselves with a bevy of weapons from either the G.D.F group or the Strogg group. The weapons range from very basic to ultra strong. There are four different types of weapons available to a mobile competitor (most of the vehicles carry weapons also). This page has information regarding available weapons in Quake Wars. Background
Quake Wars is a first-person shooter video game for the next-generation consoles Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It will also be available for computers with Linux, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Mac OS X. The game is consdiered the prequel to Quake II and a continuation of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. The setting is the same as Quake II and Quake 4. -

There are several categories for weapons in Quake Wars:- Melee: Two weapons, used in hand-to-hand combat.
- Side Arms: Six G.D.F weapons, two Strogg weapons
- Primary: Seven G.D.F weapons, seven Strogg weapons
- Grenades: Three G.D.F grenades, two Strogg grenades.
