Just like the Xbox 360 version of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, the PlayStation 3 version features six categories of vehicles. Based on the weight, each vehicle has its own characteristics and capabilities. Some are strong but immobile, while others are fast and easy to destroy. This page has information on the vehicles in the PlayStation 3 version of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. As more information is released, this page will be updated.
Vehicle categories
There are six notable categories for vehicles:
- Light: These vehicles are fast and can dodge small attacks, but they're easy to destroy.
- Medium: There are only two medium-sized vehicles: the Armadillo and the Strogg Hogg.
- Heavy: These vehicles are strong and can withstand lots of firepower. Stronger weapons can be obtained, but at the expense of speed and movement.
- Very Heavy: There are only two very heavy vehicles: The Strogg Cyclops and the G.D.F Mobile Command Post. The Cyclops only spawns in Strogg bases, while the M.C.P is available only when a player sets up for an S.S.M.
- Aerial: These vehicles are only used as support for the ground vehicles and infantry.
- Aquatic: There are two human vehicles in this category: The Trojan Armored Personnel Carrier can travel on land and sea, while the Platypus can travel only on the water.
