  • About the Game

    Empire Total War is the fifth entry in the Total War series of strategy games for the PC. Empire Total War takes place during the 18th Century. The game introduces many new features, including true 3D naval combat. For the first time in the series, players can command single ships or vast fleets upon the sea. After pummelling enemies with cannon fire, players can close in to grapple their ship and prepare to board, taking control of their men as they fight hand-to-hand on the decks.

    In addition, Empire: Total War contains further enhancements to the series’ signature 3D battles and turn-based campaign map. The addition of the cannon and musket as weapons, challenges players to master new formations and tactics.

    The campaign map introduces a variety of new and upgraded elements, including new systems for trade, diplomacy and espionage with agents; a refined and streamlined user interface; improved advisors; and a vastly extended scope, taking in the riches of India, the turbulence of Europe and, for the first time, the untapped potential of the United States.Official Site: Empire Total War
