Early on the morning of April 23, 2008, a zebra was found loose on the third floor of Seney Hall, on a satellite campus of Atlanta, Georgia's Emory University. It is believed that the animal was placed there by students or locals as part of an elaborate prank.
The zebra apparently defecated and ate a course syllabus, but didn't cause any excessive damage. This was the second zebra-related incident in Atlanta in a month - a much younger zebra was spotted wandering down I-75 on April 8.
There is a history of zoo animal-themed pranks at Emory. In 1960, a cow was discovered inside Seney Hall.
