At the 2008 Emmy Awards, AMC's Mad Men won for Best Dramatic Series while the NBC sitcom 30 Rock took the top prize for Best Comedy Series. Other winners included Glenn Close for the series Damages, Bryan Cranston for the AMC series Breaking Bad and 30 Rock stars Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey.
