Also on the beginning end of the spectrum, Modern Family, an ABC comedy received 14 chances for an Emmy statue in 2010. But along with the new shows, there were many repeat nominees, and the television series Lost entered the Emmy nominations for the performances during the final season. The 2010 primetime Emmy Awards show aired on NBC on August 29, 2010, live from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, California.
