The tension between Mariah Carey and Eminem continues in his newest single "The Warning," released in late-July 2009. In the song, Eminem directly raps about both Carey and her husband Nick Cannon. He even refers to Carey's for the song "Obsessed" by rapping "Oh gee, is that supposed to be me in the video with the goatee."

In May of 2009, Eminem's single "Bagpipes from Baghdad" also took shots at Carey and Cannon. That song caused Cannon to write a lengthy blog post about Eminem.
