Eminem, Drake and Lil Wayne performed together at the 2010 Grammy Awards on January 31, 2010. They were joined on stage by drummer Travis Barker from the Blink 182.

Lil Wayne opened with his song Drop the World and was bleeped through most of his verse before Eminem made his way on the stage. He joined Lil Wayne in his duet and although there was some heavy bleeping out of the lyrics, the audience showed their appreciation and enjoyment of the show by dancing and singing along. Hip hop artist Drake came up from an opening in the floor and kicked off the collaboration of the trios song Forever from 2009 . Eminem and Wayne each contributed one verse to this single.

During one of the rehearsals Drake reported to MTV that Eminem had approached him and told him not to be nervous. Drake quoted Eminem as saying "Man, anytime you need to look over at me, don't get nervous. Just look over at me, man, and I'll give it back to you. Everything will be all right.
