Career
Gould's career as a blogger started with The Universal Review, as one of the only two writers. She wrote anonymously for Gawker before becoming its co-editor in September 2006.In April of 2007 she had an interview with Jimmy Kimmel while he was sitting in for the show Larry King Live. During the interview Gould defended the Gawker Stalker feature that the blog was running as a service of citizen journalism.
On November 30, 2007 Gould resigned from her position at Gawker. She still maintains her blog, Emily Magazine, and freelances for other publications. In addition, she has been picked up as a blogger for Mediabistro's blog, GalleyCat.
