Emily Brandle was the third contestant eliminated on season five of Bravo's reality series, Project Runway.
Career

After design school, she worked as the sales and press manager for Hysteric Glamour. In 2006, she and her business partner, Michelle Chaplin, opened Smoke and Mirrors Clothing, a Los Angeles based clothing line. She auditioned for Project Runway because of the potential exposure she would get from being on the show.
Elimination

Ms. Brandle's losing design was created for the episode whose challenge was to make a dress for "a night out on the town". During the work session, Tim Gunn warned her that he thought her design was "too costume-y". The dress, which was a short black design with colorful ruffled accents, failed to impress the judges.
