College Football Career
Prior to joining the NFL, Brown played college football with the Virginia Cavaliers in the NCAA. He earned a starting role during his freshman season, moving his way up to become a team captain by his senior season. Brown was selected for the Jacobs Blocking Trophy in both 2003 and 2004, as the top blocker in the ACC. Professional Career
After college, Brown was selected 111th overall in the 2005 NFL draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He joined the Cardinals for nine games in 2005 for his rookie season, then was inactive for the entire 2006 season. Brown returned to the Cardinals in 2007, playing five games on special teams and at right tackle.
