Elsa Benitez is a Mexican supermodel. She has appeared on the covers of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Vogue, ELLE and Glamour, and has done an advertising campaign for Victoria's Secret. Benitez began her career in modeling after winning an international model search, held in Costa Rica in 1995. Benitez has one daughter with former NBA player Rony Seikaly—the pair divorced in 2005.

In late 2008, an anonymous lawsuit was filed suit against Egotastic.com and the paparazzi photo agency Splash, reportedly over a set of photos showing a supermodel sunbathing nude in her backyard.
