The Ellsworth Mountains are the largest mountain range in Antarctica. The mountains were discovered by American explorer Lincoln Ellsworth in 1935. Lake Ellsworth, which is also located in Antarctica is named after him as well.
The best times for expeditions are between December and February which are the summer months.
