Vigilante Killer
Ellie Nesler's son, William "Willie" Nesler was allegedly molested, along with three other boys, by counselor Daniel Driver at a Christian summer camp. Afraid that Driver would carry out alleged threats to kill the boy's family, Willie Nesler did not tell anyone about the abuse for almost a year. On April 2, 1993, Driver attended a preliminary hearing to determine whether he would be charged with molesting the boys. Ellie Nesler said that her son was so distraught that he was vomiting and was unable to testify against Driver. Fearing that Driver would go free, Nelser shot him five times in the back of the head.CBS News: William Nesler Still A Fugitive (August 2, 2004)
