Comedian Ellen DeGeneres and her partner Portia de Rossi, adopted a dog, Iggy, in September of 2007. When the dog could not get along with her cats, Ellen gave him to her hairdresser. However, the agency who handled the dog adoption, Mutts and Moms, insists Ellen violated the contract by not informing the agency of the hand-off and the rep took the the dog away, eventually giving it up for adoption to a different family.
