Path to Recovery Following Abduction
A man calling himself "Emmanuel" had done some handy-man work for the Smarts. A sketch from the family's memory was done and shared on America's Most Wanted and Larry King Live of Elizabeth Smart's abductor. Family members recognized the man in the sketch and contacted authorities with Emmanuel's real name, which turned out to be her abductor, Brian David Mitchell.
