Elizabeth Arden was a Canadian business woman who created a hugely successful, self-titled global beauty product company that provides skin care, makeup, and fragrances products. They currently sell makeup sets that color coordinate, although their main focus has been on fragrances. Arden changed her business as the needs of women changed. During World War II, in support of the women in the armed forces, she created a lipstick color to match the trim on their uniforms.
