Elisha Gray

  • Elisha Gray was an American inventor and electrical engineer, who was most notable for his legal battles with Alexander Graham Bell over who invented the telephone. In 1887, more than a decade after Bell was granted the patent on the telephone, Gray invented an analogue fax machine called the telauthgraph.
