Italian actress and model Elisabetta Canalis starred in the 2007 film Virgin Territory with Mischa Barton and Hayden Christensen.

In 1999, Canalis joined the Italian television show Striscia la notizia. She worked on the show for three years, modeling and filming commercials in her off time. Camalis also worked on the sports show Controcampo, starting in 2000. She then made the move to film, appearing in the 2005 comedy Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo with Rob Schneider. More recently, Canalis appeared in Natale a New York in 2006 and Virgin Territory in 2007.
