  • Designer Elisa Jimenez appeared on the fourth season of Project Runway where she was known for her odd style of spit marking the seam to be hemmed or cut instead of the conventional way of using chalk. She was eliminated in the show's sixth episode.

Elisa Jiminez is the daughter of two highly respected artists, sculptor Luis Jiménez and graphic designer Vicky Balcou. By the time she was five years old, she was sewing doll clothes and fixing her own hems.

The designers who inspire Elisa Jiminez are Erte, Jean Cocteau, Madame Gris, Zaldy, and Norma Kamali.
