Elena Vesnina

Elena Vesnina is a professional Russian tennis player. A member of the Russian Fed Cup Team from 2006 - 2008, Vesnina is ranked forty-fourth for singles play.

Introduced to tennis by her mother, Irina, Elena Vesnina began playing the sport in school. By 2002, Vesnina played her first tournaments on the ITF Circuit in Egypt. The following year, Vesnina won two singles titles in Moscow and Tashkent, but it was 2006 that became her breakthrough year, finishing in the Top 50, when she debuted at all four Grand Slams.Sony Ericsson WTA Tour: Elena Vesnina
