A telescope once owned by Albert Einstein has been found more than 50 years after his death. The telescope sat in a shed at the Hebrew University until biologist Eshel Ophir compared it to archival photographs and realized it had been Einstein's. After three years and $10,000 worth of restoration costs, the school will make the telescope available to use for the public on September 25, 2008.[MSNBC: Long-lost Einstein telescope found, restored (September 23, 2008)
