Albert Einstein is best known for his work in Physics, winning a Nobel Prize in 1921 for his work in theoretical physics and the discovery of the law of the Photoelectric Effect|photoelectric effect. Einsteins most notable contributions to physics are the general and special theories of relativity, which completely changed the way scientists view gravity and the nature of spacetime.

In 1921 Einstein was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics, "for his services to Theoretical Physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect".
