Randy Jackson noted that there were parts of it he liked, but vocally he felt she was trying to force runs into it. He did not agree with her musical decision.Paula Abdul admitted that she did not enjoy Cook's rendition. Abdul felt that Cook should not rely on her country roots for every theme night.
Simon Cowell declared the performance horrendous. He said she sounded like Dolly Parton on helium. He said it was a very brave but foolish thing to do. He didn't like it.
