Edwin Jackson was born in Ne-Ulm, Germany, on September 9, 1983. In 2001, Jackson was selected by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the sixth round of the Major League Baseball draft.
Pro Career
On September 9, 2003, Jackson made his MLB debut with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The date was especially unique for Jackson since it was also his 20th birthday.
