Edward R. Murrow

Edward R. Murrow (1908-1965) was an American journalist famous for his coverage of the Joseph McCarthy hearings.

The Radio Television News Directors Association (RTNDA) annually honors excellence in journalism through awards bearing Edward R. Murrow's name. The awards ceremony will be held in New York on October 12, 2009, with awards going to Jim Farley, Linda Ellerbee, and Richard Engel. [1]
