Edward "Eddie" Davidson, his wife and three year old daughter were found dead in a parked SUV on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Police had been searching for Davidson since he escaped a minimum security prison on July 20, 2008. Davidson was sentenced to 21 months in prison and was ordered to pay $714,139 in restitution to the IRS. The sentence was handed down after he plead guilty to tax evasion and falsifying computer records in a plea deal. Davidson earned the moniker the "Spam King" due to his involvement in spam e-mailing schemes. Davidson was said to have earned approximately $3.5 million between 2003 and 2006 in such schemes.
