Artist Edward D. "Edd" Cartier provided illustrations for hundreds of science fiction and mystery publications during a career that spanned several decades. Cartier was the primary illustrator for The Shadow graphic novels in the 1930s and 40s. Career
Cartier's illustrations accompanied stories by acclaimed science fiction authors Robert Heinlein, L. Ron Hubbard and Isaac Asimov.
