Edwar Ramirez

Edwar Ramirez is a right-handed pitcher for the New York Yankees. A native of the Dominican Republic, the Anaheim Angels sign ed Ramirez as an amateur free agent in 2001. After a few years in the Angels minor league system, Ramirez was released in 2004. Following a stint in the Central League, and a second go round with the Angels, Ramirez was sent to the Yankees in 2006. Ramirez made his major league debut with the Yankees in 2007, and in 21 appearances Ramirez had 1 save, and an 8.14 ERA.
