Canadian professional hockey player Ed Jovanovski plays for the Phoenix Coyotes in the National Hockey League.
NHL Career
Jovanovski was drafted first overall in the 1994 NHL draft by the Florida Panthers. He joined the Panthers in 1995 for his NHL debut and helped the team reach the 1996 Stanley Cup finals. On January 17, 1999, Jovanovski was traded to the Vancouver Canucks. He continued with the Canucks through the 2005-06 season, then entered free agency and signed with the Phoenix Coyotes on July 1, 2006.
