Ed Benes is a comic book artist for Marvel and DC Comics.
Career
In the late 1990s, Ed Benes drew for numerous comic titles, including Captain America, Iron Man and Silver Surfer. He also had an ongoing stint on the WildC.A.T.s series from 1997 to 1998.
Known for the way he draws the female form, Benes has worked extensively on comic series with heroine protagonists. In 1999, he started work on Gen13, a title he stayed with through 2002. He then contributed artwork to titles at DC Comics.
Benes briefly penciled a few Supergirl issues before becoming a longterm artist for Birds of Prey from 2003 to 2004.
