Eco-Terrorism refers to destructive acts executed in the name of defending the environment or animal rights. Many in the environmental movement believe the term has been co-opted to describe legal acts of environmental activism. Many radical environmentalists have criticized the term as being politically charged to encourage bias against the activities of environmental organizations.
