Ecards

Ecards are digital versions of postcards or greeting cards sent to recipients through e-mail or websites rather than in person or through standard mail. They are generally used for special occasions, but have a wide range of uses including general thank yous, to express sympathy, or just to say hello.

Ecards, just like traditional greeting cards, can be serious, loving or humorous. Many Ecard sites specialize in a certain ECard theme. Types of Ecards

There are several varieties of Ecards. They include:

3. Video Ecards—these cards use personalized video along with personalized text

Ecards have also been used to spread viruses across the Internet.
