Eazy-E was a legendary rap artist, producer, record executive, and member of the Compton rap group N.W.A..
Eazy-E started Ruthless Records with profits he made selling drugs and the help of music industry veteran, Jerry Heller. He then formed N.W.A, along with rappers Dr. Dre , Ice Cube, MC Ren, and later DJ Yella and Arabian Prince. Eazy-E along with N.W.A. are credited with creating gangsta rap.
Eazy died at the age of 31 from complications due to AIDS in 1995.
